This week I am sharing a snippet from my upcoming release,
He's My Husky
A light paranormal romance.
No! It wasn’t happening. Sue’s
news had unsettled her, forced old memories to the surface. Her imagination was
playing tricks on her. But the apparition kept on coming.
The man approaching their table
was no phantom.
“Max?” What was the father of
her almost ten-year-old son doing here? Now? And — the thought almost pole-axed
her — how did he know where to look for her?
Thanks for coming by :-)

I wonder how he knew where to find her myself. I guess he just had his ways. Tense snippet, nicely done!
:-) Thanks Frank, both for your comment and for coming by.
I can't tell from this if he's welcome or unwelcome, but he's clearly a shock!
And I'll bet he's not bearing good news . . .
At this stage he's definitely not welcome, Sarah.
oooh, a lot of tension going on here!
Good job! So much packed in so little!
Great job showing us her tension.
Goodness, you've made me so curious about this guy. I don't know if she wants to see him or not.
I have the same question as Elaine. I'm wondering whether she's frightened, annoyed, or just surprised. Hope you keep sharing!
:-) Thanks for coming by E.E.
:-) Thanks Tonette. Good to see you. Thanks.
:-) Thanks PT
At this point in time she definitely doesn't want to see him, Elaine, thanks for coming by.
She's annoyed, Patty :-) Thanks for coming by.
She doesn't seem too happy to see him.
She had a good reason to be wild at the guy.
I'm delighted to say I've just learned that HMH is releasing on 22nd April.
